Have you ever seen me? Probably not! My name is Josh, the owner of The Computer Shed, and I realized I have been hiding behind the scenes for far too long. It is about time I properly introduce myself and share why this little shed exists in the first place.

The spark for starting The Computer Shed came from a moment of pure frustration. I was watching a tech news video on social media and heard the presenter refer to a brand new graphics card as a mid range option. The catch? That piece of hardware costs about £1000! It completely blew my mind. When did a thousand pounds become the baseline for “mid range” computer gear?

That was the exact moment I realized something vital. Nobody seems to be representing the everyday people who just want, and deserve, their computers to last for years. We do not all need ultra expensive high end gaming rigs or the absolute latest top tier hardware just to get our work done or keep our households running smoothly.

My goal is simple. I want to help busy professionals and families service, maintain, repair, upgrade, and care for their computers. Technology is a major investment, and you should be able to get the absolute most out of it over the long term without feeling pressured to constantly buy something new.
